What to expect in your first session...

Every session is unique and tailored to you, so we begin with a conversation to establish what you would like from the session.  Often I will conduct a brief body reading to take a look at where tension is held and what appears to be blocked or congested in your body.  You can ask any questions or let me know about any injuries or issues that you have been experiencing.

Togetherness

Once you are on the table I will gently guide you into becoming aware of your breath and your body.  The touch I offer is mostly slow and deep; the depth can vary depending on the area of your body I am working with and your sensitivity to it.  I will teach you how to unwind and invite you to move to support release when appropriate.  I may incorporate ayurvedic stretches or attend to your nervous system through somatic touch.  I am also able to prescribe supportive exercises.  The session lasts for 1 hour 30mins so as not to rush the process; allowing for deep change to occur and be integrated before you leave.
